1. How did you come up with your name iiKiui?
My username originated in high school when I was coming up with a name for DeviantArt. I wanted a simple name that didn't include any numbers or extra flares so it would be recognizable and easy to remember.

The "ii" in Japanese means "good" and the "Kiui" part was just "kiwi" spelled with a 'u' instead. My username literally means "good kiwi", but surprisingly, I don't use kiwis as my brand identity.
2. What materials do you use?
Most of the time, I'm using watercolor paper, watercolors and some sort of fine liner, but if you're looking for specific details, please refer to this blog post here:

3. Why don't you do fanart?
Although I love fanart, I personally believe I should not be making money off of somebody else's character. When I make video, I make money off of it and featuring a character that is not my own can lead to copyrighted material.

I also believe that original art is just as beautiful as fanart and it challenges me to think of something new every time! Sometimes I will be inspired by a character, but I usually do not make direct fanart and instead, I challenge myself to make something original using the character as inspiration.
